The bright side of endodontic surgery

Buckwheat/Quinoa flour pancakes with comforting amounts of butter and maple syrup. I, of course, have no reason to eat them, whatsoever....except...I am heading outside shortly to bag the half ton of mummified leaves/salt/grit clumps that are choking my sidewalk plants.

A week of mushy-minumum-chew meals kicked off last night with cream of tomato bisque, the roux thickened with Quinoa flour. Tonight, Quinoa flour ravioli, filled with spinach and ricotta, smothered in a cream sauce made from...you guessed it...Quinoa flour. I'm a bit in love with Quinoa flour, in case it wasn't obvious.
