eclipse cheeks

It was bright sunshine in Leicester today for the eclipse. Victor wasn't terribly interested in it but didn't mind posing for this - reflected through a colander. We thought he'd like it when he's older and there's another one. Didn't get dark but it was rather like twilight, and very quiet. The birds stopped singing and the garden was very still - magical.
