Nature reserve & ice cream

Great lazy morning with C & I lounging about until 10am, what a novelty! The eclipse was a total non-event here as the sky was totally grey and covered in cloud so I watched a bit of the coverage live on BBC. C wanted to know why the moon was out if it wasn't bedtime.

After a Costa lunch we met Jack and Jo at the nature reserve and by then the sun was right out. A lovely afternoon walking all round the lake (proud I made it round with my 37 week bump, albeit slowly!). C got covered in mud despite his wellies. Then ducks, ice creams all round and slides.

Back home for the boys tea - a really nice day.
