Flowering!

The vines are flowering! They've made it through the winter (at least 90% of them...), survived the onslaught of a few autumn nightfrosts and a generally too cold autumn.

Now they're back with a vengeance! Determined to procreate, they grow like mad to sustain the little grape buds, which are about to flower.

Seen here: a bunch of Golubok flowers. Golubok is a new varietal with Ukrainian roots. In autumn, it turns dark red.
