Not the eclipse!

Yes, I stood outside in the cold and spitting rain as it got darker and darker, trying to focus through Mike's welding mask and the camera and yes, I took dozens of photos of the eclipse, but none of them really merit a showing here!

It was amazing how it suddenly got so cold and the birds all fell silent.  You could imagine what effect it would have had of people in times gone by  . . . 

A day of baking, dog walking, visiting friends and then dancing.  

There are some truly stunning shots of the eclipse elsewhere so I decided on hellibores in a neighbour's garden instead!
