A BLIP DAY TO REMEMBER...

... WHY this site needs to be kept going as at it has so successfully for over ten years!!!

As you probably have gathered following any of the Blackheath Blippers journals this week we have had the pleasure this week of showing Paladian and Rower2012 from Adelaide the sights around the Blue Mountains.

Well today it was time for them to experience the mighty Nepean River, my home "patch"! And of course my challenge was in taking them up the river to find that eagle again!

With the assistance of a good long time friend (Eddie) and the use of his boat we headed off with Hobbs's Run today on a over overcast day. Well up into the river gorge I spotted the mighty eagle  (or from a distance hoped it was), and we all went mad taking shots as it sat pruning itself on this dead tree branch.

Of course taking heaps of pics generally, but I liked this one, and for a couple of others at this point, as it is late have a look on FLICKR.

Really, enjoyed the time with out Blip mates, and then after they headed off for other work tomorrow and then home to Adelaide it has been a beaut week. Thanks to Hobbs and Walking Wombat for a top week.

Of course I must again thank my mate Ed, for his time and boat.... we did just (9-00pm) finish the day, so it has been a long FUN day.

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE

... sorry but I will catch up tomorrow....
