Stein am Rhein

The small, old medieval town at the end of the lake of Constance (still a bit visible on the left side). Having a bridge it was an important strategic (and wealthy) place in the last centuries, nowadays a tourist spot. Well conserved is also the castle Hohenklingen, overlooking the whole area (where this shot is from). There is a restaurant in the beautiful old rooms and we were there today for my birthday lunch.
