PLAYING GULLS...

There are always birds on my "ponds", whether it be ducks, swans or gulls. BUT not often do any of them play the gulls were today. Usually they swim away, fly in the other direction or just sit on the pipe.

Today however, the gulls were having a ball! a lovely calm, warm day, the pond was still as, instead of rippled and windy like it often is here. So they were flying around, swooping down, dropping to rest on the pipe for a bit, back up and dive bombing each other - it was fun to watch them playing.

The only problem with this is that the camera goes overtime, and I end up with a handful or more photos that I'd love to blip. This photo one, because he's coming straight at me, the reflection is pretty clear and the droplets of water kicked up look like they are hanging in the air.
