Putting up the awnings

You know it must be spring when shopkeepers begin putting up the awnings over their shop fronts as here, in Aberaeron, this morning.  Another glorious, sunny and warmer day (plus 4C this morning as opposed to minus 4C yesterday.)  Got some grass cut in the garden - Mr C was able to get the ride-on mower started after its' long winter rest and he mowed where he could, and I finished off with the petrol mower around the trees and bushes.  So glad we can do most of it with the ride-on as it takes 1 1/2 hours with the normal mower.
Tomorrow should be fine, too, so we will tackle the orchard as it is forecast to rain on Monday.
