Fire and Steel

Spent most of the day trying to clear some valuable stuff junk from the garage in order to make room for my new car which is due to arrive in a couple of weeks. This necessitated a journey to the waste site and then a quick trip down Halifax for some shopping.

Apart from a snap of a blue tit pecking at nuts, I was blipless at 7pm.

In desperation I did some messing around with a 9 volt battery, a bit of wire and a Brillo pad. I used to do this in my mum's kitchen when I was about nine years old - it didn't go down too well as the house filled with smells of burnt metal and soap.

Today I did it in the garage. No welding mask required!
