We drove to Charlottesville for the SEAS open house this morning.  University Students presented their projects to prospective students in the Engineering disciplines.  We saw robots used for taking soil samples, radio controlled drones, computer simulations of protein chains and  3D printers.  This photo shows a project using heat sensors to control lights and a music player.

I had a lot of fun flexing my brain to try and understand what these kids were doing.  It's also fun watching my children get excited about these projects.

A nice saturday outing!
