St. Joseph's Table

At our local parish we celebrated our patronal feast with a huge potluck dinner and the dessert was on this table or altar. Yummy eclairs, puff pastries, cheese cake, loaves of fresh bread, biscotti and other Italian desserts.
It seems to be an Italian celebration brought over here long ago. In 1848 our St Joseph's Catholic Church was established. Not sure how long this way of celebrating his feast day (19th) has been going on.
But the food was fabulous (I brought a rich, creamy quiche) and I had a chance to catch up with so many people I haven't seen for a while.
I also brought the icon of St. Joseph holding Jesus.
