Strutting Peacock

Years. It has literally been years that I have been trying to capture a peacock with his feathers in full strut. This evening I decided to go for a drive before heading home, and on a whim I passed through Beacon Hill Park and there were 4 peacocks in full strut!! Of course I had my camera with me and am sure I nearly caused an accident by suddenly swerving into a parking space. Only one peacock was near me, and he was busy trying to attract the attention of the two hens on the other side of the fence: He kept twirling around and shaking his feathers - it was quite the show!
