Bug Shot

Well, it looks like its insect week for me.
The shield bugs are a lot easier than damselflies to photograph. They stay beautifully still which means you can get out the tripod and set up a long exposure on a small aperture to maximise the depth of field.
You should see this guys back - I must catch another and do a detail shot of his 'shield'.
