Mr B's Legacy

Several years ago the local council erected a barrier to prevent "Travellers" from using the ground alongside the mill pool. ie. They dumped a load of hardcore and a bit of soil then left it to it's own devices.
Mr B,  whose house adjoined the eyesore, spent some time on it scattering wild flower seeds and planting daffodils.
He died a few weeks ago. Now his neighbours enjoy his legacy, first the daffodils, later the poppies.
