Greenock Cut

Mr B, Breesha and I got up early to meet our friends Jackie and Kenny for a lovely walk, 7.2 miles to be exact, down the Greenock Cut and return by Loch Thom.  The cut was built in 1872 by Robert Thom and used to supply water to Greenock, superseded in 1973, and is now an ancient monument. The views over the Firth of Clyde and Arran are wonderful from this vantage point.
