And They're Off !

It was the Howies Battle of The Beach today at Pembrey Country Park. There were over 600 entrants who took on a gruelling 3 laps of 12k of sand and forest trails. The weather was perfect and this shot shows just after the mass start when the tough pedalled through the deep sand whilst the more cautious picked up their bikes and ran until they reached the hard beach sand. We cycled around the course on the main tracks and marvelled at their strength and endurance.
