Sports Sunday

Last game of the season for Caps. They finished 9th, so didn’t make it into the playoffs by 2 points. We knew that after they lost in Cardiff on Wednesday night.

One extra win from 52 games was all they needed. Ah well... 

Pity. They’ve shown they can beat any team in the league, so could be a good playoff team. If only they’d been able to do it more often in the league.

They had just a few too many inexperienced players, a few too many injuries and a few too many suspensions. 

The good news is they won tonight. It went to penalty shots. Got my money’s worth, again. 

The way the sport works many of the foreign players won’t be back, so the last game is always a bit special. They did a wee cabaret number for the fans at the end. It got Blipped (on my iPhone).
