Otago Anniversary Day

Today we celebrate Otago Anniversary Day.  Our colours are blue and yellow, so this photo is quite appropriate don't you think.

Fourteen walkers headed to West Wanaka, and we walked along the lake until lunch time.  All morning the lake was very calm indeed, but after lunch a breeze came up, and soon the lake became quite rippled.  All in all another wonderful walk, followed by a cuppa at a local café.

The mountain in the background is Mt Roy, and you can see the track running along the hill on the right.  Another picture perfect day in our beautiful scenic Wanaka.
