The Christchurch Star

We spent some time in the city this morning and The Boss was overwhelmed by the presence of construction and the still lingering sight of deconstruction.

There was a stark and almost sad feeling to the sky line which was filled with framework but seemed to lack something as a lot of sites almost seemed half hearted somehow but please remember this was The Boss’s home for 60+ years so he was probably influenced unduly.

We had lunch at Ballantynes in their refurbished “Tearooms” which were just lovely and walked outside to be greeted once again by the Skyline and  the real stars of this city.

NOW…Many many barks for yesterdays support of our Mono Willow.
We do really appreciate all the wonderful comments and feel terribly guilty that current circumstances (away from home and such) make it really difficult to thank you all but here’s a bulk lot.
