Day by the Tay

We visited Art on the Tay today, another event running as part of Perth Festival. It was a glorious day and lots of stalls selling paintings, jewellery and crafts lined the pavements by the river, Perthshire Brass entertained the crowds and one of the churches had a cafe providing much-needed refreshments (including yummy homemade meringues). Afterwards, the girls and I went down onto Moncrieffe island, had a little paddle and crossed the causeway over to the riverside walk on the opposite bank from the stalls. A great afternoon out!
