Eye Spy

Not much time to blip today, so this little blackbird was very obliging.
He can see me with the camera even from inside the kitchen!

The saga of the water leaks continues!

MrC went to the bathroom at 5am and found water all over the floor, (yes again!!) This time from the header tank that feeds the central heating.
So once again turn off the water and drain the tank.
Rang British Gas, and this morning a plumber came!
Found the cause was a small washer, which,had perished. ( something to do with it drying out when the tank was drained to fit the pump)

An hour later the insurance assessor turned up.
Estimate £800 for new floors, ceiling, and decorating.
Rather more than we thought! 
Just glad we are insured, but MrC says they are well in pocket with all the premiums we have paid over the years!
