Classic sky

This blip is really for my dad, who always steered me in the direction of taking landscapes with very full skies, like Constable's paintings.  I do like them, in fact they can be great, but I have to confess it's not my go-to light as it was his.

Still, it does sum up today - blue skies, white clouds, black clouds, hail rain and lightning all at once.  At one point I thought the sky was going to crack and fall on our heads!

Thanks so much for your lovely comments, hearts and stars yesterday and I look forward to seeing your journals later - though I'm thinking I may have to do at least some of my commenting in the morning.
