The Tay Road Bridge.......

.......... from underneath.

I took a photograph from this spot last Friday morning (but didn't blip it)  - the tide was lower and the sun from directly above the bridge.  It is amazing what a difference the movement of the sun and tides make to scene.

I read recently that in previous centuries most people had a good sense of where the sun is likely to be in the sky - but that photographers are among the few who are tuned into the movement of the sun in modern life.  Not sure if this is true - our cat and dog both know where to go to get the best spot to sleep in the sun.
