Grandad

My dad and his wife Christine came over to visit today.
My mum and dad split up when I was young (my brother was only 5 months old) and dad maintained very little contact with us whilst we were growing up. It is a sadness in my life (more so for my brother than me) as we don't really have a parent-child relationship. However since I have had my two girls, he has made more effort and we see him every couple of months. I know my mum (or brother) isn't terribly happy about it but I want my girls to know their grandfather.
He and his wife both melted when they saw Anna and they laughed at Iris entertaining us all.
