View from Kirkby Lonsdale

Great hillwalking training day from Horton in Ribblesdale up South side of Penyghent. Had a little light hail and snow but somehow avoided the rain we could often see threatening to roll over us from nearby hills. Lunch on the summit then down to Ribbleshead viaduct and micro nav practice on Runscar Hill. Good views of all 3 peaks from there as cloud lifted but best shot echoing the day's weather from van window on road at Kirkby Lonsdale
