Class Trip

I accompanied my daughter's class, 5G, on their class trip to Norwich today.

We started off at the train station where we did a traffic survey, then went into the actual station to ask some of the un-suspecting public their opinions on it. Next it was over to Riverside, where we did the same thing except this time we asked the public's opinions on Riverside itself.

Once that was all done, we headed towards Carrow Road where we had lunch and then a talk & little film about the history of Norwich City Football Club. After a timeline game and looking at some old football memorabilia, we had a guided tour round the actual stadium. We saw the dug outs, the stands and I know this will appeal to some of the ladies who follow my journal, the dressing room including the showers and the ice bath ;-) Sadly there were no players to demonstrate that for us helpers & Miss Gowan :D :D

This sign is above the tunnel where the players run out on to the pitch. It's from the old train that used to take City fans to the games - see this page.

All in all, it was a really good day out. The kids were all well behaved & well mannered too which was lovely :) And despite being a Chelsea fan, the tour round the football grounds etc was actually really interesting :)
