Sundown in Mote Park

What is this strange orb in the sky? Wasn't there meant to be some sort of astronomical event affecting this orb and another orb last week? Didn't see it down here and have not seen much of it for a week or more until this afternoon.

Susan was working today and so was I after I'd been for an early morning swim and coffee. Then it was down to a multitude of tasks from a wide spectrum. It was not all work, more like things that needed to be done. Mind you, I got the feeling that it was a bit like cutting off the Hydra's head. The more heads you cut off, the more heads that grew in their place. That's what it felt like today, crossed off tasks on the list only to have them replaced by several more that popped into my mind.

I did have time to watch the second half of the Italy v Wales rubgy match at lunchtime. I now only have the Scotland v Ireland game to see, having watched England v France last Saturday. What a weekend of international rugby that was.

We had time to squeeze in a walk when Susan came home before going to The Society Rooms (A Wetherspoons Pub) in Maidstone for their Steak Night. £17.99 for 2 steaks and a bottle of wine and very good company with our friends Chris and Wendy.
