'Old Sunflower'

A great day at work today. Met a new client out at La Trobe University this morning and took the brief for their new Molecular Imaging Lab and came up with the design sketches with them. The work they are doing with very specialised equipment is amazing. They have a high speed water and air cooled camera that shoots at 500 frames per second and produces 5GB of data every second. Apparently this camera and computer managing the data can run for hours on end. Can you imagine the amount of data that would produce. They are researching the effect of different coloured light has on molecules.

This is a close up of our old sunflower in the front garden. Even though the life has disappeared from it, I still find it quite beautiful looking. The patterns are incredible.

While out there I also noticed that we have a pumpkin growing up about 2 metres of the ground in one of our trees.
