Summer meadow

The ewes and lambs were transferred to another field a couple of weeks ago, so the field at the bottom of the garden is transforming into a summer meadow. Buttercups are wonderfully simple and bright flowers which remind me of childhood. Hold them under your chin and if your chin turns yellow you like butter! Who comes up with this stuff?? Great nostalgia though.
