Up The Garden Path

Well not exactly, today we removed the builder’s shuttering ply boards, which had been laid directly behind the house, along the lawn, to prevent them carrying mud into the house.  Judging from the state of the house the boards had no apparent effect, other than to kill the grass that was laying beneath them.  Our carpets, despite, much vacuuming, are full of particles of fine soil carried in from the garden, which will take months to remove.  Fortunately we hope to replace the carpets once all of the work is completed.  Today’s blip is the bare soil, which was under the boards i.e. not a garden path.
