Whixall Moss is often visited by me but incredibly difficult to photograph, it is the sort of place you venture into and it feels properly vast, I have said before it is like a British version of the African Savannah but with Nightjars rather than lions.

It was calm and still up there today so these pools had to be used for their reflective capabilities.
