Moel Famau

Lovely day for a walk today, we started with Moel Fenlli (511m). The hill-fort on the top is the highest in the Clwydian range and its banks and ditches are still clearly visible.

......... then on to Moel Famau (554m) the highest peak in the chain of hills that make up the Clwydian Range. It is distinctive for the Jubilee Tower at the summit that was built in 1810 to celebrate the golden jubilee of George III.
