Shower cubicle, Centre Loewenberg

And, that, ladies and gentlemen, was the shower cubicle in my room, at what turned out not to be a holiday camp, but the training centre for Swiss Railways. In the cylinders, the rooms were like cake slices, tapering towards the door and away from the window. The shower room saw you literally sitting on the toilet with your feet in the shower. And to save space, the washbasin was outside the cubicle and was itself tapered to save space. Crazy. Efficient. But I'm afraid not especially conducive to a good night's sleep.

I left here this morning, and didn't spend a night in a hotel, but with some friends resident just outside Geneva.
