My beloved Oslo - Art for those in need

... of a toilet :-)

This is something so odd as an art installation and toilet in the same time.
It's called Liberté  and is made by the Norwegian artist Lars Ramberg in 2005 to celebrate our liberation from Sweden in 1905.  Back then it was controversial, but now people seemed to calmed down.

It 's going to be at Spikersuppa, in front of our Parlament for 2 years, that means 1 year left.

Now comes the odd and interesting part:  Inside the toilets one can listen to tapes of speeches to Franklin D. Roosevelt, Charles de Gaulle and King Haakon VII.

That's what I call to bring the art out to the needy ;-)
