seven sisters

Pierre and I got the bus almost to Eastbourne today to visit the Seven Sisters country park. I had my first 99 of the year, we met a HUGE Great Dane called Roxy, got blown to bits by the freezing wind, and then got warmed back up again in the tea room with a scone, jam, and cream :)

We had been invited to Don's mum's for tea. We got the train to Worthing for 7pm and had a tasty meal at Gill and Sandy's. Soup to start, ham and vegetables with a mustard sauce for main, and apple pie and custard for pud. Delish! Pierre was shocked that the cheese was brought out after the dessert. Sacrilège en France! :)

We played cards after dinner and had a good laugh as is always the case with Don's family. Lovely night :)
