Coming round the side of the Parliament building tonight after dinner with friends in Holyrood Rd, this was the view of Holyrood Palace , with the flag pole and the standard flying from it sharply lit against the night sky. One of the decorative ponds in front of the Parliament reflected just a little of the light.
