Masked But Identifiable

Since the temporary lakes formed after heavy rains in the local park, a number of birds are visiting. Here's one of a pair of Masked Lapwings (also called Masked Plovers) that were ambling about this morning.

I'm posting this quickly as another lively storm cell bears down - already rumbling and flashing - so I will be poised to turn off the off the technology for safety.
