Streaky bacon and ghost beach walkers

It was low tide at sunset this evening.  I thought I would have a wander around the rock platform to Susan Gilmour but the tide was higher than I thought and it was a wading job to get there.  I pootled around with long exposures but chose this shot when I had got back to Bar Beach and the sky was lit up like streaky bacon.  Lots of people in for a wallow and beach walking.  It really was a glorious day but you can feel that it is Autumn with the cooler mornings.
