On The Piste

Virgin snow. Untouched and ready for the day ahead. This was 9am this morning at one of the few real snow indoor ski centres this country has to offer. As someone who had their first ski lessons on one of the artificial slopes back in the 80s, I am a little jealous of what is available for those learning these days.

It is not quite the same without the smell of gluhwein or "apfelstrudel mit sahne" in the air but then you can't have everything.
