Fungus!

I spotted this large fungus while out for a walk a couple of weeks ago; this is the third time I've photographed it but on the previous occasions it got "pipped to the post" as my blip. I was amazed today to see that it was still "alive" and looking as dramatic as ever. So here at last is its picture, with some nettle leaves next to it to give a sense of scale :)
