A Last Horrah! And Thankfully Goodbye!

Tonight was, I suspect my last game of bowls this season.

We went out on a new low! My worse defeat of a rather miserable season to be honest. I only played on 2 winning rinks in the end, and I haven't won a rink since Christmas. Truly woeful! The club was nailed to the bottom of the league, with two games still to go. I have never known a season like it to be honest.

Ahh well .. tis only a game! We still had plenty of laughs during the games as we went along, and that's a lot what the short mat season is all about.

The petanque season starts in a month .. hopefully I can win some games there!
