Tenements

In a day of chilly sunshine and showers, once I'd unearthed my winter boots from premature storage, I headed into Glasgow to meet friend Tom for lunch at Wee Lochan in Crow Road. As usual the food was scrumptious, but we had a table of twelve noisy chatty folk next to ours, which made conversation difficult to hear.

These red sandstone tenements in the adjacent street are typical of the west end of Glasgow and still very desirable.

Shocking news out today that the recent plane crash in the French Alps was possibly a deliberate act by the co-pilot.
