Spring has sprung?

Snow on the way to work, well sleet. The Ochils were very white, and the Pentlands had just a light covering. Looking over the wall by the river I notice the nearby tree had lots of pink buds. I manage to get one good shot of this one. There was a pigeon sitting on another branch, eating the leaf buds, not touching the flowers. It wasn't bothered by me, but an empty stomach with tasty buds makes it brave.

Spring has sprung.

O, sweet are Coila's haughs an' woods,
When lintwhites chant amang the buds,
And jinkin hares, in amorous whids,
Their loves enjoy;
While thro' the braes the cushat croods
With wailfu' cry!
