Simba

Up early to drive to Hamilton to help photograph the today's event of Balloons over Waikato with some other members of our camera club.
The event took place beside Hamilton Lake on the Innes Common.
I decided to walk around the lake and photograph across the lake.
This is Simba, one of the largest balloons which was tethered today, peeping out from the tree tops. There was quite a lot of cloud cover today and the light wasn't fantastic during the event.
Another early start tomorrow...... some early sunshine would be nice for tomorrow's shoot and some nice reflections on the water would also be appreciated...so fingers crossed
