The fishing party

This is at Hythe. Cal and I had a mission which was successfully completed and we made a dash for the coast once the job was done.

Down to Rye and then left. We had a walk on the beach at Camber - the wind was blowing Frenchmen across the Channel and blowing their poodles inside out but we braved it. Hugging the coast we made for New Romney, St Mary's Bay and Dymchurch before stopping in Hythe for sandwiches and drinks which we enjoyed on a bench next to the sea at West Parade. Not too windy here and lots of fisherpersons to watch (I think they were all blokes but I've done the diversity training).

The sun was behind these guys and the light turned the sea to mercury. I had a handful of shots but chose this because of the little boy running.
