Now That's A Heavy Load

It was another very busy day at the nest, as the bald eagles continued building.  It is so interesting watching them leave the nest, heading to a nearby tree or the ground, retrieving or busting off the branch in flight, and then returning to the nest.  This particular photo was only a little portion of a very long long flight around and around trying to gain altitude with this heavy load.  We weren't sure she was going to pull it off, but after about 5 huge circles over the wetlands, she was able to bring that monster branch to the nest.
