Soapy Ogston's pile....

or at least, one of them! Aka Ardoe House Hotel where we are spending a couple of days in celebration of our friend Iain's retirement tonight and our friends Nan and Drew's daughter's wedding tomorrow. I've stayed here before but it is hubby's first visit to this magnificent mansion house set in glorious woodland on the South side of the Dee. We are both looking forward to it, and to the fact it brings all our family together too.
