A Craving *Raven*

Up very early for the epic journey south.

It was torrential rain most of the way down but on the plus side, we did get some lunch today. The temperatures were far warmer than in the Highlands, so we opened the car windows to get some fresh air. Immediately, we were joined by this rook, who appeared to have a disabled foot. He looked very wet and hungry, so I threw him some of my chicken sandwich. He refused to eat it (perhaps he sensed that it one of his fellow species!), so went hungry.

Home safe and sound, after 15 hours travelling. Too tired to unpack this evening. Good night all and thank you for your lovely comments, stars and hearts on all my Highland images. Hope to catch up tomorrow :-)
