At Home with Aunty Margaret

We arrived in Forres a day early after a drive from Aberdeenshire.   Aunty Margaret made me toast with marmite and a cuppa.  She had planned to come north with us for a few days (with Mr Glum).  However our early arrival was an attempt to miss a bad forecast for the Pentland Firth (and it worked).  However the Glums decided to postpone their visit until mid-April.  So Mr Glum gave me a pair of speakers to try and an assortment of old vinyl (40 LPs).  We then watched quite a lot of ‘From Scotland with Love’.  Aunty Margaret’s only claim to fame was that she used to be a stunt double for Sheila Steafel.

Refreshed, and once on the road again, we stopped in Nairn to pick up Popette.  After skimming over the Cromarty Bridge, we then all repaired to the Storehouse for a fine snack.  Got a few messages in Thurso and made the boat no bother.   Baz was glad to see us.  Very purry and frecky.
